December 16 is a day of immense pride and honor for the people of Bangladesh. On this historic day in 1971, after nine months of a bloody liberation war, the Pakistani occupation forces surrendered to the freedom-loving people of Bangladesh. This marked the birth of an independent and sovereign nation. Victory Day is not just a date; it symbolizes the sacrifice, resilience, and triumph of the Bengali nation.

To commemorate this glorious day, Lions District 315 B4 organized a vibrant day-long program at the CLF Complex. The event began at 7:30 AM with the hoisting of the national flag. The event’s chief guest was District Governor Lion Kohinoor Kalam MJF.
