Advocate Md. Sarowar Hossain Lovelo has been nominated as Zone Chairperson of Lions Clubs International, District 315, B-4, Bangladesh. On 1 July 2023 Lions District 315, B-4, Bangladesh nominated Zone Chairperson (with Clubs) for Lion Service Year 2023-24 through a letter signed by Honorable District Governor Lion MD M Mohiuddin Chowdhury. In the coming year of Lion service, Lion Adv Md Sarowar Hossain Lovelo will serve as Zone Chairperson and Coordinator of the four Lions clubs.
Previously, he successfully served as the Joint Secretary of Lions Club of Chittagong Liberty during the Lion Service Year 2017-18, and the Secretary of Lions Club of Chittagong Liberty during the Lion Service Year 2018-19. Later, he founded the Lions Club of Chittagong Angel in the 2019-20 Lion service year and served successfully as the Charterd President of that club. Later, in 2021-22 lion service year, when the activities of Lions Club of Chittagong Angel were stopped on the advice of the senior leaders of Lion district, he has been serving as the club administrator of Lions Club of Chittagong Mirsarai. He has successfully performed the duties of District Secretary of Lion District in 2017-18 Lion Service Year, District Observer in 2018-19 Lion Service Year, District Co-Chairperson in 2019-20 Lion Service Year, District Chairperson in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 Lion Service Year. District Governor of Lion District 315 B-4, Bangladesh Lion MD M Mohiuddin Chowdhury MJF honoured him by assigning him this prestigious post.
Advocate Md. Sarowar Hossain Lovelo, who received the Bangbir MAG Osmani Golden Award and International Global Changemaker Award for legal profession and social service, was born in Amirabad village, ward no 7 of the Sitakunda Parushava. He get up Graduated with Bachelors and Masters in Law with a commitment to social responsibility and justice. He has gone a long way to achieve his goal.
Currently, Working as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and Chittagong Judges Court. He has fought countless times for the poor, the helpless and the downtrodden without pay. He was elected as an executive member in Chittagong District Lawyers Association elections and performed his duties with reputation. He is also the executive member of the IIUC Law Alumni Association, a popular organization of law students of the International Islamic University of Chittagong, from 2016-18 and has been serving as the co-organizing secretary since 2021.
In addition, Sitakunda’s continuous progress does not stop for the soil and people. After serving two terms as the Secretary of Law and Human Rights of Sitakunda Samiti Chittagong, the beloved organization of Sitakunda people, he was elected again unopposed for the second term. Lions Club of Chittagong Mirsrai is successfully performing the duties of Club Administrator.
With various institutional trainings in journalism, he is currently studying for a postgraduate diploma course in journalism under Press Institute Bangladesh.
Along with social activities, he published the popular Law magazine Daily Ainadalat Pratidin to spread the light of truth and beauty in the establishment of justice. At the same time, he is also working as a special correspondent (executive editor rank) of National Daily Bayannao, Editor in Law the Daily Shangu, Legal Adviser of Weekly Sitakunda, Director (Law & Human Welfare) of G-Bangla IP TV, Nav Alo 24, Swadhin Barta 71, Legal Adviser of JASTV Bangla. Apart from this, he has been serving as the publisher and editor of Dainik Unsattor Patrika published from Dhaka.
Advocate Md Sarowar Hossain Lovelo has great experience of working on human rights issues and on top of that human rights, he has obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from Bangladesh Institute of Management. He started his social activities in 1996 by promoting Islami Ideal Library in West Amirabad village and serving as the publication editor while studying in the sixth standard. Later, when Islami Ideal Library was renamed as Adarsh Samaj Kalyan Sangh and registered with the Department of Social Services, he served as joint general secretary of that organization for a long time. do At the same time, he is the chairman of Disari Foundation Bangladesh, Disari Youth Foundation Bangladesh and Disari Sahitya Sankshtik Sangsad, Central Legal Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Council, Member of Chittagong Metropolitan Journalist Unity, Bangladesh Combined Journalist Society Central Committee Legal Affairs Secretary, he is a traveller. Chairman of Adarsh Savings and Loans Cooperative Society Ltd., Adarsh Chhatra and Youth Society, Sitakunda Youth Blood Foundation, Sitakunda Blood Bank, Sitakunda Online Journalist Association, serving as advisor to various social, cultural and journalistic organizations. He is a Life Member of Kidney Disease Welfare Foundation and a Donor Member of Sitakunda Press Club.
Since 2019, he has been serving as the coordinator of the Chittagong zone of the International Human Rights Commission, an international human rights-based organization under the United Nations.
