Advocate Md. Sarowar Hossain Lovelo is a renowned lawyer and human rights activist. He not only fights for justice in the courtroom but also stands beside the underprivileged in society. His recent humanitarian effort is an Iftar distribution program for the poor and needy during the holy month of Ramadan, which he organized using his first government salary.
Ramadan is a month of sacrifice, self-restraint, and compassion. With this in mind, he decided to spend his first government honorarium on providing Iftar for the underprivileged, including the homeless and orphans. On March 24, 2025, after receiving his first three-month salary as an Additional Public Prosecutor (APP), he prioritized service to humanity over personal needs.
The Iftar distribution was held before the Iftar gathering organized by Sitakunda Blood Bank. I believe that a lawyer should not only seek justice in the courtroom but also work for fairness and humanity in society. It is my pleasure to use my first government salary to distribute Iftar among the poor. I hope those who are capable will come forward to strengthen the chain of humanity. I am grateful to organizations like Dishari Youth Foundation and Sitakunda Blood Bank for their support.”

Advocate Md. Sarowar Hossain Lovelo’s initiative is not just about distributing Iftar; it is a call to action for others to step up and serve humanity. His effort reminds us that social responsibility is not limited to charity—it requires true commitment to bringing change.
By organizing this Iftar distribution at Sitakunda Municipality premises, he has shown that to make a difference in people’s lives, one does not need immense wealth—only a strong will and a sense of duty. His dedication to social service has truly made him apeople’s lawyer.
