The 28th Annual Conference of Leo District 315 B4, the youth wing of Lions Clubs International, was held at the Classic World Convention Hall in Chattogram, where the Executive Committee for the service year 2025–2026 was officially announced. With a noble commitment to humanitarian service, Leo Md. Shawkat Hossain was elected as the new District President. Alongside him, Leo Md. Sifatul Islam Sami was elected as Vice President, Leo Rafid Md. Ahnaf as District Secretary, and Leo Hossain Md. Imran Nixon as District Treasurer. The immediate past president was Leo Deepto Dey.
The newly elected committee was announced by the District Governor (Elect) for the service year 2025–26, Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu MJF. Congratulating the new committee, he stated that the Leo movement plays a significant role in nurturing leadership and a spirit of service among the youth. He expressed his hope that the new leadership would make Leo District’s service initiatives even more dynamic.
Several other key positions were also announced at the event to ensure the smooth operation of Leo activities. Lion Shubha Naz Zinia MJF was appointed as Leo Club Chairperson, Lion Khalilullah Chowdhury Sakib as Leo Youth Exchange Chairperson, Lion Farah Benjir Alam Esha as Leo-Lions Liaison, and Md. Shahriar Iqbal was named Leo Youth Lion.
Speakers at the conference praised the achievements of the Leos during the previous service year and expressed optimism that the newly elected leaders would uphold and expand the commitment to humanitarian efforts in the coming days. In his remarks, the newly elected District President Leo Md. Shawkat Hossain said, “This responsibility is not just a position, it is a duty. Together, we will expand the Leo movement and work to bring the touch of service to every level of society.”
With its vibrant arrangements, energetic atmosphere, and emergence of new leadership, this year’s conference was not just a ceremonial event but marked the beginning of a promising journey toward future accomplishments.
