

Sarowar Uddin:
On Saturday, 14 February 2026, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Sarowar & Brothers distributed Iftar items among 1,700 families in Ward No. 7 of Sitakunda Parushabva. Iftar packages were also provided to all members of the Sitakunda CNG and Auto Rickshaw Association.
Under the patronage of the Managing Director of Messrs. Sarowar & Brothers, Lion Mohammad Shahjahan, Iftar items were also distributed at Nazir Ahmed Darul Arkan Madrasa in West Mahadebpur.
Among those present were Saleh Ahmed Solu, Member Secretary of Sitakunda Municipal BNP; Advocate Md Sarowar Hossain Lovelo, Zonal Volunteer Coordinator of the International Human Rights Commission and Vice President of IHRC SMM Bangladesh and Additional District Public Prosecutor Chittagong; Lion Md. Shahjahan, Managing Director of Sarowar & Brothers; Mohammad Anwar Hossain Masud, Branch Manager of Army Welfare Trust, Sitakunda Branch; former President of Ward No. 7 BNP Md. Nurul; General Secretary Syed Mohammad Alauddin; Director of Sarowar & Brothers Mohammad Ali Azam; Principal of Nazir Ahmed Darul Arkan Madrasa Md. Jasim Uddin; Advisor Sheikh Md. Borhan Uddin; and noted social worker Mohammad Zainal Abedin, along with other distinguished guests.
The program was supported by the International Human Rights Commission and Dishari Youth Foundation Bangladesh.
The organizers stated that this humanitarian initiative for underprivileged and working-class people will continue in the future.
It is noteworthy that, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic when many people were unemployed and struggling with food shortages, Lion Md. Shahjahan had already initiated and maintained such assistance programs, which continue to this day.
